In October 2023, the ISRF launched its tenth Flexible Grants for Small Groups competition. Having received a number of strong proposals, a selection panel nominated the following 19 projects for award.

In July 2023, former ISRF Political Economy Fellow Dave Elder-Vass was awarded the Cheryl Frank Memorial Prize for his book Inventing Value: The Social Construction of Monetary Worth.
In January 2023, the ISRF launched its seventh Early Career Fellowship competition. Having received a number of strong proposals, a selection panel met in July 2023 and nominated five projects for funding.
In August 2022, the ISRF launched its ninth Flexible Grants for Small Groups competition. Having received a number of strong proposals, a selection panel nominated the following 12 projects for award.
In 2022, the ISRF launched its sixth Mid-Career Fellowship competition as well as its fifth Political Economy Fellowship competition. Having received a number of strong proposals for each call, selection panels met in December 2022 and January 2023 and nominated a total of ten projects for funding.
In November 2021, the ISRF launched its first Collaborative Fellowships competition. Having received a number of strong proposals, a selection panel nominated three projects for award.
In 2022, the ISRF launched a pilot First Book Grants competition as well as its ninth Independent Scholar Fellowship competition. Having received a number of strong proposals for each call, selection panels met in the second half of the year and nominated a total of eleven projects for funding.
